There are world records for Sergei's type, which are over two thousand pounds! Visit their websites by going to My Favorite Links page. All of the rubber band balls that I have heard of were constructed and are being constructed out of mostly donated bands. I have created this web site for the same purpose. If you are kind enough to donate some rubber bands, I will post your name up on my website with the number of rubber bands you have donated(if you donate a large amount of bands, it would be nice if you specify the number of bands so I wouldn't have to count them all!). The most recent events are at the bottom: 11/21/01   Sergei project has started; five small rubber bands so far! 11/22/01   Bought 60 small rubber bands from the store. They are hard to find with a bad selection(only one kind!). Started website construction. 11/23/01    Bought 3 quarter-pound boxes of rubber bands from hardware store and added them to Sergei!
